Goole Model Boat Club

Ok it may not be a yacht but it does have sails. This was donated to the club and after having some attention from Mr & Mrs Jones it now sits in the club lobby awaiting a more permenant place.
Ok the model is of the HMS Bounty and with information from Graham Buckton there is a local connection with Hull.It was built as the collier ‘Bethia’ prior to being acquired by the a Admiralty and renamed the Bounty ,it was built by the Blaydes family, who had a shipyard of the Old High Street in Hull.

Here is the latest from Mr Hudson, you may not recognise it but it is a Fairwind yacht. With a fresh colour scheme it realy makes a fresh contender to the Victoria’s.
